# ReThrift — Brand Guidelines

ReThrift is a reverse marketplace: buyers post requests, sellers compete with offers. The brand should feel **friendly, conversational, trustworthy, and premium** — a chat-first marketplace. Light-first UI with a confident indigo identity and a warm coral accent.

## Logo

The mark is a rounded squircle carrying an indigo gradient and a white **R**. The wordmark sets **Re** in ink and **Thrift** in indigo.

- **Display — Sora** (700/800): headlines, wordmark, section titles.
- **Body — Inter** (400–700): UI, body, labels, buttons.

Use tight tracking (`-0.02em`) on large display text. Keep body at default tracking.

## Do & Don’t

**Do**
- Use the inverse lockup on dark backgrounds.
- Keep the gradient on the mark; keep the wordmark solid.
- Maintain clear space and minimum sizes.

**Don’t**
- Recolor, stretch, rotate, or add drop shadows to the logo.
- Put the dark wordmark on low-contrast backgrounds.
- Rebuild the mark in another typeface.
