Buying

How do I post a request?

Click “Post a request”, describe what you need, set a budget in NPR, choose a category and add any photos or reference links. Posting is free and takes under a minute.

How soon will I get offers?

It depends on demand for the category, but many popular requests receive offers within an hour. You’ll be notified as sellers respond.

How do I compare offers?

Each offer shows the price, condition, delivery time, warranty and the seller’s trust score and reviews. Line them up side by side and accept the one that fits you best.

Can I negotiate?

Yes. Chat with any seller in real time and send counter-offers directly from the request page — no need to share your phone number.

Selling

How do I start selling?

Create a free account, browse open requests, and send an offer on anything that matches your stock. Buyers who post are ready to buy.

What makes an offer stand out?

A clear price in NPR, honest condition details, photos, a realistic delivery time and a warranty where relevant. Building your trust score with completed orders helps too.

How do I get paid?

When a buyer pays, funds are held in escrow. After you fulfil the order and the buyer confirms, the money is released and paid out to you.

Payments & escrow

How does escrow work?

The buyer’s payment is held by ReverseThrift rather than sent straight to the seller. It is only released once the buyer confirms the order was delivered as promised.

What are the fees?

Posting requests and receiving offers is free. A small platform fee applies to completed orders and is shown clearly at checkout.

How do refunds work?

If an order isn’t fulfilled or a dispute is resolved in the buyer’s favour, the escrow-held funds are refunded to the buyer.

Trust & safety

How are sellers verified?

Sellers can verify their email, phone, ID or business. Verification badges and a trust score are shown on every offer so you know who you’re dealing with.

What if something goes wrong?

Open a dispute from the order page. Because payment is held in escrow, our support team can review the case before any funds are released.

How do I report a user or listing?

Use the report option on any request, offer or profile. Our moderation team reviews every report.
